In an attempt to fix a breaking relationship, Queenie and Burrs decide to host a party. One of the guests to arrive is a man named Mr. Black who immediately notices Queenie, and Queenie notices him. The first act of the show becomes a love triangle between Queenie, Burrs and Mr. Black. Cut to Act 2, Queenie and Mr. Black are talking together in the bathroom and Queenie is feeling confused because she's having genuine feelings towards Mr. Black, deeper than infatuation. Mr. Black, who shares the feelings, takes the opportunity to tell Queenie how he feels through this song.
