Trina's husband Marvin has left her to be with his male lover, Whizzer. Her son Jason is having outbursts, and she has just started to see a psychiatrist named Mendel (who she will later end up marrying). Needless to say, she's going through a lot at the moment, and she's having a bit of a breakdown.
