Audrey has been living her whole life in the slums of downtown Skid Row. She's dating a semi-sadistic Dentist who has just given her a black eye and caused her to need a cast for her arm. In a moment of reflection, she dreams of living the stereotypical American dream with a sweet little guy like Seymour, her geeky botanist friend who is very much in love with her.
